He was exposed, disgraced and expelled. Later he was able to secure a job as a night watchman at the Metropolis Space Museum used Rip Hunter's Time Sphere to travel to the 20th century and become the superhero Booster Gold.

Rita DeMara, hoping to show off her engineering talent, stole a copy of the Yellowjacket costume from Avengers Mansion through remote control. She clashed with the Wasp who caught Rita modifying the Yellowjacket costume for herself, and was easily defeated, collapsing in hysteria the first time she tried shrinking, overwhelmed by the experience.
