Attempting to prove his survival skills, Michael instructs Dwight to abandon him deep in the forest with nothing but a knife and a roll of duct tape. Dwight, who stays behind and watches from a distance, is forced to come out of hiding to save Michael when he tries to eat wild mushrooms.

Upset at Toby's return to the Scranton branch, Michael buys two pounds of marijuana from a pair of Vance Refrigeration workers and hides it in Toby's desk--then tips off the police about possible narcotics in the office. But when the police arrive to search Toby's desk, Michael's "marijuana" turns out to be Caprese salad.
